HOSE this week announced the classification of listed companies into industries, launching 10 sector indices using the Global Industry Classification Standard.
The HCM Stock Exchange is developing new sector indexes based on the
Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) and will introduce them
in the first quarter of next year.
The HCM Stock Exchange plans to one more index in July for the
benefit of investors, fund managers, and securities companies, an
exchange official said.
